Book Review - Steven Lindsay - The Angels' Pride

The Angels' PrideThe Angels' Pride by Steven Lindsay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really loved the concept of this book. Introducing modern and ancient history and entwining them together really works well for this author. Sariel is such an innocent that is forced to grow up when she learns that her family have betrayed her. She frees two Goddesses, who have been held in captivity by the Angels when they overthrew the Gods and started their own religion - Christianity.

This starts a chain of events that leads to last circle of Hell and the dominion of Lucifer.

The main characters are very well written making you really feel for them. Story lines are fast, engaging and really hook you in. You don't want to stop reading till you reach the end of the book and it is a big book. The author takes you through an alternate history of might have beens and what could be's.

The ending is a cliffhanger that makes you really want to start reading the second book which is due out in April 2014. If you like tales about magic, gods, war and real history, then pick up Steven Lindsay's book 'The Angels' Pride' you won't regret it!

We will be getting copies in stock soon so pre-order now!
