I loved the way this author writes. Very funny and the storyline just keeps flowing. The characters are well formed and likeable, even the unfriendly ones. The idea that you could reach into a book and pull items out is something most book lovers have fantastised about for many a year. The concept is fascinating and I am going to keep reading the next in the series to see where the author takes it. The dangers of Librimancy seem very realistic and add to the flavour of the book.

Very good, highly recommended!!

Book Review - Princess #4 Snow Queen's Shadow

I loved this series!!! The whole twisted fairy tales worked very well and the worlds Jim came up with were realistic and fun. Snow White's magic mirror gets broken and thus releases a Demon into the world who then causes chaos and mayhem. The first person to fall under the Demon's spell is Snow White who becomes an even more powerful sorcereress and she flees to her country from which she was banished under pain of death for killing her mother.

Very moving and the ending made me tear up. He introduces a new character that is a wonderful addition to the girls. Jim has done a wonderful job with these books and I am sad there will be no more after this one.

I just finished this book and I really enjoyed it! The writing style is funny and straight to the point. Danielle is a great character and everyone will love Snow aka Snow White. All the characters are well written and they make you care for them.

Jim Hines gets back to the orignial fairytales in these books and its not all fluffy bunnies. I recommend these books to anyone who likes Terry Pratchett and Mercedes Lackey. Now for the next one Mermaids Madness..
