I really enjoyed this book. It has given me a greater appreciation for the works of Jane Austen. The novel moves along quite nicely and you get to fall inlove with all the characters at your own pace. In fact you come away thinking that there really was a missing manuscript from Jane Austen. Samantha and Anthony have great chemistry and work really well together in finding the missing manuscript. You actually have two books in one as we are also reading about the life of Rebecca Stanhope and her adventures. After being evicted out of their home, Rebecca and her father are forced to find a home with relatives while also trying to clear her father's name.

A very good read and one I highly recommend. It has made me want to read some of Austen's books again.

Set 25 years before the parasol protectorate we see some of our familiar characters (in their younger forms) and we meet new people. Well written and just as funny as the previous series, we meet Sophronia Temminnick. She is a fourteen year old girl who is not very lady like, so her mother sends her off to finishing school. Only it's not like any old finishing school - it is an espionage school. I loved it and can't wait for the second one to come out.

I love all of Traci's books. This whole story arc has been one massive ride and it just keeps getting better. I love the tone of the book and it seems to bring something new to the table. I like how the characters keep developing and with each life, the evolve into something new. The Asian aspect of this book is fascinating and I am learning new things as I read. All in all, a very well written book. I shudder to think of how Traci keeps track of who everyone is, was and where they all are at one time. Good job!

I love the Nightwalker world and Jacquelyn Frank doesn't disapoint with this new series. The author goes back to the world of the Nightwalkers and shows us a brand new breed - Bodywalkers. These are spirits of past people who co-inhabit the body of a mortal. They are fighting a civil war that has gone on for thousands of years. Here we encounter Docia, who is unassuming but has a wild streak in her. She gets offered the chance to become a Bodywalker after an accident (well not an accident :P) She meets up with Ram and then the story gets going. I highly enjoyed this new series and can't wait to continue reading when the next book comes out.

I enjoyed reading this story. The characters are thrill seeking brothers who get caught up in a kidnapping with an innocent woman. They have to escape while wounded and in hostile territory. I loved Acadia Grey, she had such guff to her that she matched the Stark brothers well. A good storyline, with an end that you don't see very often.

This was a gentle read. I loved this book. The town of Avalon has its ups and downs and we follow the lives of 5-7 core people in the book. Each one is effected by the Avalon Scrapbook Society. A witty, emotional and very moving story. It brought a tear to my eyes a few times. You get to see how one person can effect so many people without knowing it and how we can grow as a human but interacting with others.

I would highly recommend this book and if you love scrapbooking (as I do) you will find inspiration it's pages. I know I have!!

I want to now read the Friendship Bread by Darien Gee which is set in Avalon as well.
